This diesel locomotive, which is believed to be the oldest working Ruston in existence, was built in 1932 (Works No. 166010) and obtained by a member from Kingston Minerals at Corsham in 1973. It has been regauged from 2’ 6” gauge
This locomotive was supplied new on 13/05/1932 to Freshwater Sand & Ballast Co, Fingringhoe, near Colchester, Essex, and was returned to Ruston & Hornsby Ltd, Lincoln on 09/07/1934. (info from the "Ruston Register"
